Anamaria Marinca bio
Anamaria Marina is a Romanian actress. She was awarded the British Academy Television Award Best Actress Award for her role in the Channel 4 film Sex Traffic. She speaks French, German, English as well as Romanian well. Her mother played the violin and her father is a theater professor in one of Romania's best theatre schools. The award was presented to her as the Best Female Actor of the Year in 2000 Award for the Young Actor Gala Mangalia. In 2008 she was named a European Shooting Star' by the European Film Promotion Board. She taught for 4 seasons at the University of Fine Arts Music and Drama George Enescu in Iasi. bAnamaria is an Romanian Actress who was born on the 01st of April 1978, Iasi Romania. Anamaria Marinca, an actress who is of Romanian heritage has made her screen debut in the television series British-Canadian called Sex Traffic. She won the British Academy Television Award Best Actress in the film for this performance. Aside from her performance in her maiden film, the actress is recognized for her performance in the Romanian art-film 4 Months 3 weeks as well as 2 Days which won her many awards including the European Film Award for Best Actress London Film Critics. She starred in the Romanian film 4 luni 3 weeks si 2 days (4 months, 3 weeks and 2 days) produced by Cristian Mungiu. The film was awarded the Palme d'Or at the 2007 Cannes Film Festival and two other prizes (the Cinema Prize of the French National Education System and the FIPRESCI prize). In addition, she appeared in Francis Ford Coppola film Youth Without Youth. In 2008 she was the character Yasim anwar in the BBC mini-series The Last Enemy. Marinca played the role of Yasim Anwar in Oliver Hirschbiegel's Five Minutes of Heaven, and in the Romanian drama Boogie. Later, she had a major role in 2014's Fury which featured her as Irma her German mother of Emma.
