Kristen Anne Bell is an American singer and actress born in 1980. Born and raised in Huntington Woods Michigan as the daughter of Lorelei Frygier who was a nurse - and Tom Bell - a television director. She is an American actor and singer. The mother of Kristen is Polish as is her father, who is German, English Irish and Scottish. Kristen was already a talented entertainer in the early stages. In 1992, she attended her first audition. She was successful and got a role in Raggedy Ann and Andy. Bell was accepted by her mother to become an agent when she was only thirteen years old. Then, she was selected for newspapers ads as well as commercials on TV. In the same year, she also began training in private acting. Bell had a small uncredited part in the film Polish Wedding (1998) in 1998. Bell took part in the drama and music club of Shrine Catholic High School. The Wizard of Oz was presented by the high school and she won the part as Dorothy. After graduation Bell moved to New York City to attend the prestigious Tisch School of the Arts and learned about musical theatre. Bell left the school in 2001, when she landed the role of Becky in the film Tom Sawyer. That same year, she made her first credited debut with Pootie Tang (2001), but her scene was cut and her appearance exists only in the credits sequence. Bell made her debut in 2002. Bell was as a character in The Crucible, a Broadway revival of The Crucible with Liam Neeson and Angela Bettis.
